Redwood Waste Solutions operates nine transfer stations and recycling centers in rural Mendocino County. Referred to as our Satellite Locations, they function as locations for the deposit of municipal solid waste (garbage) as well as a number of other household and commercial materials that are recycled. When loads of mixed waste are received, they are sorted to the maximum extent feasible to extract recyclables and increase diversion from landfilling.
